Annual Giving Campaign April 7th-21st, 2026
What is SOCS Annual Giving, and why is it so important?
As SOCS nears the end of its eighth year, we continue working to build a school that is both strong today and sustainable for the future. Like many independent schools, tuition covers most, but not all, of the true cost of educating each child. The Annual Giving Campaign is our main source of fundraising, and allows us to meet the full cost of a SOCS education beyond what tuition and other (smaller) fundraisers support. This year, our Annual Giving Campaign will be April 7-21, 2026.
How will my contributions support SOCS?
In the short term, allocation of Annual Giving funds will help us meet the gap in funding for basic school needs such as curriculum purchases, teacher professional development, a new fence and pavilion, and systems development to accommodate our growing membership.
In the long term, allocation of Annual Giving funds could range from a sibling discount, development of special services for students, expanding our Anti-Racism Anti-Oppression work, growing our building fund - we have so many ambitions! How is Annual Giving different from other fundraising events throughout the year?
By making a gift to SOCS Annual Giving, you are ensuring that we can provide the best environment for our children. As parents and caregivers, our contributions to the school have a direct impact on our children’s lives.
Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions. Thank you all for your participation and contributions!
