The Winter Forest

The forest really showed off this week! We slowed down to touch, observe, and wonder about the ice. The forest gave us so much to explore, imagine, and learn from.

The children were amazed as they watched water rushing and swirling beneath the ice.

They loved hearing the ice crack and shatter when it was tossed onto the frozen creek.

Everywhere we looked, we discovered beautiful ice sculptures made by nature—sparkly, bumpy, and all different shapes and sizes.
